CIVIL RIGHTS COALITION TO GATHER AT THE WHITE HOUSE FOR 55TH ANNIVERSARY OF BROWN V. B.O.E.

At the National Action Network Annual Conference , the Reverend Al Sharpton and New York City Schools Chancellor Joel Klein, co-founders of the Education Equality Project (EEP), announced that a coalition of civil rights leaders, education activists, community leaders, students, and parents will gather at the White House Ellipse in Washington DC on May 16th, the 55th anniversary of Brown v. Board of Education. EEP will use the occasion to issue a call to action to end the racial and ethnic inequality in our nation's public schools.
