Urgent -- Volunteers Still Needed -- Green For All and National Action Network (NAN)



Memphis, I am very proud of you in answering to this request for volunteers. To date I have received over 100 volunteers for the National Action Network Convention and wanted to say thank you. But as any major event, I am still in need of many more. The event will be held from April 2 - 5, 2008 in Memphis, TN. The volunteer hours are from 7 am - 7 pm each day of the convention Shifts are minimum of 4 hours and hopefully we can get those who can do 8 hour shifts. Need volunteers to be willing to start at 7 am to help out with registration. The following areas are needed:

Registration, Membership,Greeters, Runners (high school students), Gospel concert,Panel host, panel monitors,just to name a few.

Also, Green for All will be having "The Dream Reborn" conference from April 4th - 6th, 2008. They currently have a need for volunteers to assist with preparing packets and with clean-up. Below is a brief overview about the conference and why it will make a difference to society as a whole:

We believe that if Dr. King were with us today, he would be working to build a green economy -- strong enough to lift people out of poverty and restore hope to America. He would be standing with those communities that have been locked out of the last century's pollution-based economy.
