On Brown v. Ford the Outraged Negro gives his final verdict...

Hey... I've got to say it again
We've got to get together and buy some land
Raise our food just like the man
Save our money, do like the mob
Put up your factory and own the job
We've got to get over, before we go under
Time ain't a jaunt, hey Lord
Country don't do you, no
Just what I meant but that's changed
I've got a brand new funky President
---"Funky President"(James Brown)

James Brown was chosen by God to be Soul Brother Number One, elected by the people as Prime Minister of Funk, Grandfather of Rap and even Black President, but Pres. Ford with all due respect wasn't event elected President by the people and when the people had a chance to well...

James Brown one of the greatest cultural landmarks and innovators in the history of America was hoodwinked this past weekend...It seems like for awhile that people in particular those in the mass media and music industry who benefited not only aesthetically but also monetarily from the Black President's talents and accomplishments would give Soul Brother Number One his proper due...The accomplishments of this man were not just legendary , but were probably more presidential and life changing than some of the decisions made by many of our so-called great white Presidents...No disrespect to Pres. Gerald Ford, but for my money I would say that James Brown had a far greater and lasting effect in his 50 plus glorious years of music making than Pres. Ford had in his half term as President and 13 terms as an U.S. congressman from Michigan...
"I'm Black and I'm Proud" it could be argued is the true National Black Anthem (no disrespect to the great James Weldon Johnson and "Lift Every Voice and Sing") because it did more for the confidence and future outlook for Black Folks than any legislation passed by Congress, the Supreme Court and the White House combined for music is an universal language that is accepted anywhere like American Express or the fact that Dan Quayle can't spell:

Now we demand a chance to do things for ourself
We're tired of beatin' our head against the wall
And workin' for someone else
We're people, we're just like the birds and the bees
We'd rather die on our feet
Than be livin' on our knees
Say it loud, I'm black and I'm proud

James Brown is overwhelmingly acknowledged as a genius of music and major contributor to the only truly unique and original cultural contribution America has so offered the world, its musical heritage via one of its most repressed and creative people...

James Brown deserved to have had a state funeral sponsored not only by the United States of America, but sponsored by the state of Black America where after all Bro. James was the true first Black President no Barack Obama and hell to the naw Billy Clinton...Meaning that B.E.T., TV One and all radio stations that make money off of music and other forms of entertainment created by black people should have broadcast the event live commercial and interruption free (and without stupid ass self-important commentators talking over the ceremony, something that could have been done without during the Ford state funeral which was overall a very classy and dignified affair...Chris Matthews please shut up, breathe and eat an english muffin you fat loquacious bastard) from Augusta which basically is one of the most important places for music in America...Augusta is also the hometown of Little Richard, Otis Redding and Hip Hop mogul Jermaine Dupree...It is ironically also the birthplace of the man who took down the Richard Nixon White House...Black America should have learned from the Hurricane Katrina fiasco that if we don't take care of us who is going to take care of us???

In America you can 't ask you must demand respect...And we all should take a cue from Bro. Brown who stated in the song "I Don't Want Nobody To Give Me Nothing":

I don't want nobody to give me nothing
Open up the door, I'll get it myself...
Do you hear me
I don't want nobody to give me nothing
Open up the door, I'll get it myself

Now that folks is what I call affirmative action...May you rest in peace Bro. Brown cause I feel good...
